Biography
Mr. Ian Harrison, P.E., is a mechanical engineer for the Georgia Tech Research Institute.
Mr. Harrison’s professional career has been focused exclusively in the defense & aerospace sector where delivered products are mission-critical and must perform as intended when called upon to do so. He has worked on space projects, aircraft cockpit displays, and military radar systems. He has experience in the product lifecycle spanning from idea/need to serial production. He has performed various types of environmental tests such as altitude, thermal, vibration, and electromagnetic interference.
Mr. Harrison earned a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech, as well as an academic certificate in mechanical behavior of materials. Mr. Harrison is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Georgia.
